Data Advocate is a civil society initiative dedicated to advancing statistical literacy, open data, and evidence-based policymaking in Liberia. We promote the development and use of quality statistics to support national development, align with global standards, and strengthen the National Statistical System (NSS).

Our Story

Data Advocate emerged from the growing need to promote data-driven decision-making in Liberia. With national development priorities expanding under the AAID, and new global expectations for monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Liberia requires strong civic movement pushing for improved statistical quality, accessibility, and usage.
